Progress of the assessment and improvement of PEOs


The process for the assessment, evaluation and improvement of the PEOs of WCET program is periodically performed based on employers’ alumni’s and program advisory board’s recommendations and comments. The evaluation results are not only used to evaluate and improve the PEOs, but also to improve other components of the program such as PLOs, CLOs, program curriculum, learning activities and assessment of learning outcomes.

The PEOs are the long term result of the program which covers results after 3-5 years and usually evaluated by the surveys. For the DCET programs, there are following 2 types of assessments in PEOs:
  • Relevance evaluation that describes how much significance and importance outcomes included in the PEOs.
  • Performance level evaluation that describes how the graduates who completed undergraduate program are ensure the expected level of PEOs after 3-5 years of graduation.
These assessment and evaluations must be performed with the specified frequency by using survey results. The satisfaction levels of attainments and relevance of PEOs and PLOs are rated as follows:
Relevance of PEOs and PLOs:
5 = extremely important; 4 = highly Important; 3 = Important; 2 = Somewhat important; 1 = not
Attainment of PEOs and PLOs:
Excellent =4, Good=3, Average=2, Poor = 1, and No Judgment = 0
These evaluations must be performed with the specified frequency by using survey results.
